Growing Economic Health Through Business Diversity

A community that has a wide range of businesses and jobs is a strong community. It is resilient and can adapt. It is a place where everyone can contribute — it attracts residents, workers and entrepreneurs. We can identify for the long term a variety of sites for industries and businesses. We can give businesses spaces to grow, connect them to the services they need, and provide locations close to their customers or main suppliers.

Good planning decisions now will help Bruce County attract and sustain a diverse economy, entrepreneurial vibrancy and employment for generations to come.

This project is now complete. Thank you for your input.

In March 2022, the Plan the Bruce Business Discussion Paper was endorsed by Planning and Development Committee as the foundation for developing policies for the new Official Plan.
